Request for Proposal

Issue Date: August 01st, 2017

1. Purpose
Lao Securities Exchange (LSX), a joint venture limited company between Bank of Lao PDR (BOL) and Korea Exchange (KRX) entered their Agreement on July 22nd, 2009 is seeking for proposals from qualified international audit companies interested in providing Auditing Services for the transparency of LSX’s operation. The LSX’s intent and the requirements of this RFP are to provide 2017 annual auditing services at LSX.

2. Scope of Services
The proposing company shall be required to provide auditing services as following:
• Conduct 2017 annual audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing as promulgated by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (the “IAASB”);
• Consider and give comments on LSX’s internal control;
• Issue the final audit reports to LSX at the completion of the audit within February 09th, 2018. (1st draft of the audit reports must be submitted by January 19th, 2018)

3. Candidate Conditions
The candidate companies shall meet the following criteria:
• Be the external auditors approved by Lao Securities Commission Office (LSCO);
• Established and has at least 3 year experience in field related to each above-mentioned services;
• Established based upon the international standard;
• Have adequate human resources who are expert in the related field with fluent communication ability in English;
• Provide detail plans and activities in dealing with the above-mentioned field (what & how to be audited and when it should be done);
• Provide the information of contact person located in the Lao PDR;
• All information in the proposal shall be complete and accurate.
