Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the participants of Program – Lao Professional Investment Banking I (Program – La.PIB I) was held on the 1st of June, 2014, in the grand meeting room, Lao Securities Exchange (LSX). The ceremony aimed at handing over the certificates of attendance to the trainees who had completely attended the program through the last six weeks. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dethphouvang MOULARAT, Chairman and CEO of LSX, Assoc. Prof. Somchith SOUKSAVATH, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business Management, National University of Laos as well as Mr. Somphob SAKPUNPANOM, CEO of APM(Lao) Securities Com., Ltd on behalf of the three parties who has organized Program – La.PIB I were honorable in delivering their greatest congratulatory remarks for the success of the training. Program – La.PIB I had started since April 26th, 2014 with the number of 67 trainees. During the course, the various lectures on interesting topics regarding to financial market, accounting and laws were delivered by the highly-experienced professors and executives in Laos and Thailand. Additionally, the opportunity of joining the study tour in Bangkok was provided to the participants who wished to visit the Stock Exchange of Thailand, well-known Securities Companies, Investment Banking firms and listed companies in Thailand.
The examination of Program – La.PIB I is divided into two parts which are the financial and law parts. The examinations of financial and law fields are taking place on June 8th and 14th, 2014 respectively. The professional certificate is handing over to the trainees who could pass the examination, and the certificate holder could apply for the license from Lao Securities Commission Office (LSCO).
