The Opening Ceremony of “Program – Lao Professional Investment Banking I” (Program – La.PIB I) was officially held on the 26th of April, 2014, in the grand meeting room, at Lao Securities Exchange (LSX). In the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dethphouvang MOULARAT, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LSX was honorable in delivering his warmest welcoming remark to all of the distinguished guests consisting of Madam Vattthana DALALOY, Secretary General of Lao Securities Commission, Mr. TaeJoo CHOI, Vice Chairman and Chief Operation Officer (COO) of LSX, Assoc. Prof. Somchit SOUKSAVATH, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business Management (FEBM), Mr. Somphob SAKPHANPHANOM, CEO of APM(LAO) Securities Company Limited (APMLAO) and the relevant officers as well as over 60 trainees of the program. On the same occasion, Madam Vatthana DALALOY, Secretary General of Lao Securities Commission, also expressed her great congratulations to LSX, FEBM and APMLAO that cooperate each other to arrange the Program – La.PIB I for enhancing and developing the human resource as well as for increasing the competitive potential of Lao Financial Market to rapidly grow. Program – La.PIB I is a curriculum focusing on providing the attendees with the knowledge on accounting, financial statement analysis and other helpful financial knowledge for executives, stock investors, and general people who wish to work in securities market field. The training has started since April 26th until June 1st, 2014. During the course, the opportunity of taking a part in a study tour in Bangkok is giving to the learners in order for them to pay a visit to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, well-known securities companies and investment banking firms in Bangkok. For those who miss joining the training are able to apply for the next program. LSX is definitely continuing to provide the public with the interesting seminars in the near future.
